Basic just of this game- both qb's are sucking, but there's can be somehwat productive in the run game and we have no run game.

Yep...Another GLORIOUS come from ahead loss by Iowa. Classic Hawks!
What sucks about this defense...after a game and a half....I just don't seen any potential.
We know Petras will be a bit of a work in progress. He's shown some flashes. He's got a pretty comprehensively good (great?) receivers and Goodson is a great college back...and the rest of the backs are solid.
Just haven't seen anything on the defensive side that makes me think there's much left in that tank.
Course as I type this, they've pushed em into a 3 and 11.
Which they promptly allowed the conversion.

0-2 against Pudue and NW spells a long season. Wish we hd northern Iowa and San Jose St. on our schedule.

Hard to see where a win is coming from. When the cats need a play, they can get it. It the past, Iowa usually had a good D to lean on. Now, they don't even have that.
