Reed looked like Melsahn Basabe, freshman year version.

They had three guards who were jets, could shoot the lights out, or both.

I think the two biggest factors were declining attendance and the threat of another wave of players, led by Matt Gatens, leaving the program.

We were barely a B1G caliber team by the end of his third season. No way could we survive another mass player exodus.

They are the better team. But not by near as much as what it looked like tonight. The 3 point line is a great equalizer to athleticism and if Bohannon plays we might be one of the better 3 point shooting teams in the country.

They were on fire and our 2 best players played like absolute garbage. It also looks like 2 of our young guys got a little comfortable. If CJ and Joe T keep getting better, we will have some good nights when Garza and Wieskamp are both clicking. I just hope those nights happen enough to be able to at least enjoy this season a little.
