N IL had won 6 of last 10 vs P5 teams. No pushover.Northern Illinois and Northern Iowa. Division 2 might not be the right term, but they are not power 5 teams. The sack stat is on the B1G stats.

I liked what Brian did on Saturday. They honestly looked like they were a complete college football team.
I'm a little surprised that Iowa is unranked right now.
Beat Indiana, and I think they may jump a few spots close to 20. Like Hawkeye fans, i think the voters are still waiting to see what's what. Big game this week against a solid Indiana squad. I think this game gives us a look at how we can expect to look against 3 of the next 4. Its on the road and a huge one for confidence
Here is the key stat, Iowa has had one big, watershed game, Kirk pissed it down his leg again.
To me it's amazing that Iowa has the 3rd hardest schedule in the B1G. Look at Rutgers. A team that has Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State and they can't even get past Illinois.
And this is one of the easier schedules Iowa has had. There's no Michigan or Ohio State. Yes there's Penn State on the schedule and Maryland. Maryland is no pushover but it's at home.
Iowa doesn't really have a signature win that vaults teams up the AP poll. Not a big deal we are to the time of year where just having a 5-1 record is going to be enough to get into the top 25, as most other P5 teams will have 2 loss at this point. Take care of business vs Indiana and we will be in the top 25
