Last game of the years guys and gal. Been a hell of a ride and one of the most enjoyable basketball seasons around here in a very long time.

Iowa- 77

Baylor- 66


Next season cannot get here soon enough.

This will be the longest day at work (and I'm out of beer, and I have to work a track meet, yuck)...
 








Iowa - 69
Baylor - 60

RDM gets 20+ points, 6 boards, and 6 assists. Named to all tourney team and MVP of the tourney.
EM has another 10 point game and at least 2 thunder dunks. Named to all tourney team.
Woody gets 10 points and 10 rebounds.
AW and MB combine for 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Daydreaming at the desk counting the hours. Is it 8:00 PM yet??

By the transitive power Iowa will win by five.

It was a season I looked forward to before it began. The finish to last season and the prospect of the young talent was greatly responsible for the optimism. Those close losses to the upper echelon were tough to take, but you knew the gap had been closed. Next season already has expectations include being part of the NCAA. My hope is that this group can win or tie for the conference championship.
 


Hawks by 15.

The one concern would be the refs wanting to keep Baylor in and calling a bunch of fouls at the start of Pierce drives. Of course they'll never call his carry-overs, which he does on every freaking dribble.
 


I'm gonna keep it going. I have been wrong the last two games and want that trend to keep on going.

Baylor - 75

Baylor will actually look like they care about this game unlike the BYU game, and Jackson is too quick for our guys to stay in front of.
 


Going to be a real tight game. Aaron White will be the star in this game. 19 points 11 from the line.

Hawks show one more time why they were the team that deserved the NCAA bid with another double digit win in the NIT bringing the championship trophy to Iowa City.

Marble goes off for 25 and Woody is to much inside for Baylor's freshman post man posting a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Hawks - 74
Baylor - 63

Must say for the first time in a very long time, I am bummed the season is ending. Can't wait for next season to start.

I see a high scoring game. It should be fast paced, but Baylor let BYU control tempo. Both want to score 80...and if either does, they win.

Me, too. Batting 0.000 since Indiana St. Therefore ... BB = 73, THEE IOWA HAWKEYES = 69.

Exactly. See I bet against the Hawks on here, but for my money bet I take them to cover. Been working pretty well for me.
