Off topic but someone explain Texas

Early Commitments is UT problem... this started 6-8 years ago. Big rush to get all these early commits by end of June camp period - what happened is that those 25 who committed in June weren't the best 25 in Texas by the Feb early signing period - HS CHANGE - even during their SR. year

After that happens a few seasons in a row ..... many D-1 coaches have said privately they are always a little nervous with the 'early verbal' - locks you out of players later

That looks like an outhouse compared to Allen ISD stadium or the Berry Center for CyFair ISD

Allen's football facilities are outrageous. They also have over 5000 kids enrolled in just 10th-12th grade, whereas Lake Travis has ~2300 in 9th-12th and just moved into 5A. LT had those same facilities when they were a growing 4A school. I'd have to ask some friends there but I think the indoor practice facility just opened up last year.

Sad part is the gym at my daughter's school is about the same size as the 2A gym I played in back in Iowa. We had around 1100 students in K-12.

Rumors are flying that Texas will be Sabans next stop. If the rumor isn't starting here first then I won't take credit but if it is.....

I know this to be true. Bama plays A&M in College Station this week.

Yea I'm sure I'm not the first person to come up with that. It'd be pretty interesting if there was smoke to go with that fire. But even if there is no way that'd come out till after the year

Mack Brown basically has been except Vince Young. Mack will be gone within 2 years.

He went to the NC game with Colt McCoy (oh hai super ghey name!)

There's no way a team with that much talent available to it should ever win less than 10 games a year.

OMG Deloss Dodds out at the end of the year, search committee to find new AD followed by new head coaching hire.

MACK BROWN is the problem but Texas will not fire him no way no how. He and Deloss Dodds are tied at the hip and most UT fans love them both. Mack is within a year or 2 of having the most wins at Texas as head coach, and that is topping DKR. Deloss Dodds is retiring after next year so I assume Mack will retire as well if he gets the winning record or not. Mack is the turd in the punch bowl there at this point but he won't be fired. But look out when they get to hire a new coach. It will be basically anyone they want (Including Saban), doubt it happens but they could park a Brinks truck bigger than Bama's in front of his house and give him the keys to Texas. Will Saban leave probably not but you know damn well UT will call. UT is 1 awesome coach from being Alabama part deux in a heart beat. Mack has been ******* up texas for years now, its stupid how someone could do that with the advantages Texas has but he has managed to do it.

If Texas loses a couple more games they should win & he will be gone, Deloss Dodds or not.
