Oct. 1: Nebby at Wisky ... Who do you want to win?

Not a Wisky fan but have to pull for the Badgers in this game. I absolutely hope the Huskers don't walk into the Big 10 and capture the title in their first season. I think Wisky gets them, especially with the addition of the qb transfer. Who will you pull for and why?

I don't think it's chemically possible for me to pull for Nebraska. If they played Notre Dame...I can't even imagine. I would probably spontaneously combust.

So I'll always pull for whoever is playing Nebraska, although it would make it sweeter if we stomp them to keep them out of the championship.

I will now root for Nebraska out of conference but it will be quite some time if ever that I am able to root for them agaist another big10 team.

Of course if it has implications for Iowas success that will be an exception.

Wisconsin all the way. I don't like Wisconsin, but this love fest that some are having with Nebraska leaves me shaking my head. Tommy Frazier isn't lining up under center.

Without a doubt, i'm pulling for Wisky here. Agree with previous poster that I don't think it is possible for me to root for Nebraska.

Side note... Russell Wilson to Wisconsin in my opinion does not make them much better than they were already going to be. In fact, it could become more of a negative and I think they are setting the bar very high for a guy who has to learn an entire new system in two months. At least the Budmayr kid is familiar with the system. The Nebby game could be the first game where they really see how well Wilson has learned the system, assuming he wins the starting job.

In terms of division standings it would be more beneficial if Wisconsin would win. Nebraska's conference non-division games of WI, OSU, & PSU makes the task of winning the Legends division more difficult. Getting use to the idea of divisions changes how one must think about individual games.

Wisky simply because they are in the other divisions. The more losses NE has the higher Iowa can finish in our Division.

Sorry, I won't even do this and I haven't lived in the state for 30 years. Maybe if they are playing an SEC team but even that isn't a given.

Would it be wrong to hope for a giant lightning storm to hit in the middle of this game and for the Great Director of Athletics and All Things Godly to call Bo Pelini and Bret Bielema to that great program in the sky?

Yeah, I thought so, too.

Wisconsin, we want to win our division. And yes, hope the Huskers go undefeated in non-con, but get their butts handed to em in conference.

i think it would be fun if us and nebby were undefeated going into that black friday matchup and we destroy them in their house. many of you say it takes years for a rivalry to take shape, not in this case

Anytime a Leaders Division team faces a Legends Division team, Hawks fans should want the Leaders team to win. Every conference loss by a Legends team helps Iowa. Even if you hate Wisonsin, you should want the Badgers to go 3-5 in the conference with all their wins aganst Legends teams.

Nebraska, If iowa and nebraska are both doing good at the end of the season it will make the game more meaningful and draw more national attention.

According to a poll Wisconsin your biggest rival. So why would you guys pull for Wisconsin over Nebraska? : )
