O$U f*ck them.

This thread is a great opportunity for those who apparently don't like anything Iowa football does. Rip into us and take the safe route, which is that Ohio St., which has traditionally had the best athletes in the entire nation, save Alabama, will win big in Iowa City next Saturday. Congrats: Captain Obvious. On the other hand, I was in the horse shoe when iowa took a far superior OSU team into overtime, with, in fact, a young, inexperienced QB. Guess what. Iowa will show up to play OSU on Saturday. You haters will be drinking busch lite and eating dominos pizza While you rip into the Hawks. Have fun.

It's been confirmed that Iowa is wearing the alternate uniforms for the OSU game.

That's a brilliant idea. Right after the game they can change back to their normal uni's and pretend that was a different team that got pasted.

The OSU/Iowa Game will be similar to the 2016 PSU game.

In the Des Moines rag this morning, KF said Iowa is growing every week, but it's not fast enough for the armchair (his word) quarterbacks. The man gets more delusional by the week.

Apparently he hears or reads what the fans are thinking about his team to make that comment.

I really think Kirk might have early onset dementia. He has an alternate reality. Everything is fine in his little, imaginary world. The same world where he hired his son to be OC.

Posted this in another thread before I looked around.....

The numbers 17 and 10 are prominent this season.....

The good news is that we have finally turned them around.....

I would be pleased with 10-17, or especially the reverse next Saturday......

We scored 17 the last time osu was in Iowa City, a 20-17 loss. I would be delighted with this, even on the losing end.....

Hope still remains for a decent showing against the buckeyes, like Michigan last season and Penn State this season

A faint, almost invisible, hope, but it is there.....

We won in 1962 at Kinnick, 28-14.....

Since then we are 3-31 against the buckeyes here and there.....

We did have one lopsided win at Kinnick during Ferentz's tenure. Mid 2000's.

I think this is kind of a cool site:

http://www.winsipedia.com/ohio-state/vs/iowa

Bunch of comparison stats on both the series (seems to be dominated by OSU- longest win streaks are 16 & 2- which team do you suppose has which streak?) and the program histories (of the 12 different stats, the only 1 that favors the Hawks is..... bowl win %).

That's because Iowa has played chittier teams in chittier bowls than OSU over the years.

Would it be legal if Iowa wore Nebraska's jersey's on Saturday?

I actually had Dominos pizza last Saturday night. I have not had it for years. To both my and my wife's surprise, we were pleasantly delighted. Much better than I was anticipating from past memory. Not greasy and the crust was terrific.

OSU will win by as much as they want to. If they half-assed it, it might be close for a half. If they decide to make a statement, they will. I just don't think Iowa will have much to say about it, especially on offense.

I have long had the greatest respect for you and your posts. Now, I will have to re-evaluate my stance. Domino's? Really? Pagliai's...YES!

Well Thanks. Yes, that is why I haven't had it in years. Wifey for some reason had a free pizza voucher and we got whatever their meat lovers is. Anyway, I wasn't expecting anything too terrific but just bordering on edible with a greasy cardboard crust. But, to my surprise, it was actually not greasy and kind of good. Maybe it's my old age now.

Yes, Pagliai's and Wig and Pen are right in my backyard!!

I heard of a new one that is supposed to be the bomb right now in Iowa City, but I can't for the life of me think of the name.

If I lived in a world where I won 140 games at a P5 school in 19 years, where I won more B1G COY trophies than anyone not named Bo or Woody, where I won the school's first BCS level bowl game in 50 years....I might think things were pretty fine too! :)

Had Tavern Pizza in WDM last week. Forgot how good it was. Reminded me of Chucks on SIxth Avenue before Linda passed the torch.....

Bamies was as good as any pizza I have ever had. Loved Bamie. Would be sitting at the bar waiting for a pizza and he would suddenly slam a rubber chicken on the bar, shouting: Who wants chicken, then starting hitting the chicken with a rubber mallet.....Priceless.....
