NW is 119th vs Pass. Will we make any scheme adjustments to test them?

Iowa will have receivers running wide open all day. The problem is that JVB will lock-in on the one receiver that is double-covered; or he will throw a pass that is not even within ten yards of a wide open receiver.

Just because the Wildcats can't defend the pass doesn't mean JVB will suddenly morph into Aaron Rodgers.

No morph is necessary - JVB is a good QB IF he is used properly. Greg Davis does not know how to use him properly. It's more like we need Davis to morph into Kevin Gilbride this week or something.

Not only that, they have 2 CB's already declared out for the game, and T Magic threw for 360 yards and 3 TD's against them. I've never seen a more obvious time in my life for where we should be chucking the ball around. The injuries on the O line will hurt, but you can bet NW will make adjustments and have 8 in the box and be blitzing non stop. When are we going to make someone pay for doing this? When are we going to make adjustments to win games instead of being so stubborn and simply thinking it's only about execution.

NW has a really bad passing attack just like we do, and they are really good at running it. Will we commit extra people to stop the run and bring pressure on passing downs? Or sit back and hope a few D line stunts will cure all?

How would you adjust our plan? Would you force our QB to make reads he hasn't been able to make up until now or would you force him to complete passes he hasn't been able to complete before now? Or better yet, would you force him to lead us on multiple TD drives in a game at a higher rate than he has been able to do to date?

How do you adjust your game plan to pass more efficiently when your QB has not been able to do that in previous games? You can't adjust it if your QB is incapable of executing proper mechanics and judgement. If your QB is bad, what is there to do differently? I am aware he is trying his hardest, but it is a fact that he has been pretty poor in pretty much any way to measure performance.

It makes me laugh that our passing game and their pass defense are both ranked in the hundreds. Which ever unit is able to exploit that weakness is going to be in good shape and unfortunately I'm not sure were able to take advantage of their pass defense or lack there of.

We haven't exploited ANYONE's D all year...I suspect this will be another weekend of a 13-14 point outburst by the 110th ranked scoring offense in the country. And I wonder how much of GD's plays are being altered at the line by JVB because he doesn't want to drop back and pass Mr. HappyFeet and all.
