NU's Drew Crawford. Say What!? LOL

Well the chicagoland area is full people willing to settle. Call it good if only 20 people are shot in a weekend. Call it good if you take the train to work. Call it good if your house is stacked on other peoples houses and you dont really own land. Call it good if your famous pizza is really just sauce on top of a loaf of bread. Oprah. Look at the roads in Chicago not to mention you have to stop every mile to pay a toll.

I just think its sad that Crawford got sucked into this area as so many youngsters do. Its cool go to chicago they say. Ohh and everything within 50 miles of chicago is chicago to me.

Hilarious.

Definition of "soul less"....name a Chicago suburb.
Let's also not forget:

10% sales tax (Cook county)
$110+ residential/parking stickers just to park in Cook County (yearly)($200 fine if an IL resident and caught parking w/o it)
Rush hour AM begins at 5:30 am through 10 am, and rush hour PM begins at 4 pm through 8 PM.
O'hare pushes through 65 MILLION passengers yearly
And, charges $31/day to park in the covered ramp
Find on-street parking after a 5" snowfall...good luck!
Forbes recently named it the 4th worst city to live in
10% unemployment
Sears tower isn't even officially the Sears tower anymore

Needless to say, I was glad to get the h3ll out of there on Sunday morning.

That was me, and no, sorry, I didn't move the entire game, and, we stuck around afterwards for 30+ minutes so we could meet/chat up the Iowa players. And yes, I was in a bright yellow pullover in section 110, row C.

Were you in the very last seat on the edge? If so, I saw you from clear across the arena but must have missed you when I came over that way. Sorry, man.

I have the exact opposite opinion of him for staying put. He is a loser for staying IMHO. Who wants to finish at the bottom of the big ten, yet again. As opposed to helping an already good team be even better and playing meaningful games. Only a loser would be ok with ending his college career without ever playing in the NCAA tourney.

Maybe to complete his education at one of the top schools in the nation? Your salary probably wouldn't make a dent in his bonus once he's employed... just saying.

I am sure that in his mind he thinks they should not be getting beat by 20+ points ... Not just against Iowa, but other teams as well ... NW had been playing pretty decent ball the past 4-5 games and then the debacle against Iowa. In his mind, he probably just thought they should have kept the game closer.

problem is he said "that team"... which makes it sound like there are some teams they can't compete with but we aren't one of them..

So sorry I'm going to call him out on that one.

You can't compete with us for 40 minutes.... not in your dreams bud.

The cats have showed some heart in conference and pulled out some unexpected wins, so respect for that. But watching them play the Hawks in any arena this year has had a cupcake non con feel to it. At no point did I think the Hawks had any chance of losing. Crawford is good player though and you can't blame him for staying and getting another year of education at NW.
