Notre Dame's Decision

I think it is amazing that Notre Dame could change not only college football but every major conference in the country. You know there is some heavy negotations going on behind the scenes to get them to join the Big Ten. During the past decade their football team has been mediocre at best but they have a huge national following, which sells a lot of cable packages. If they decide to join then watch the domino's fall, it should make for an interesting summer. Personally, I hope the Big Ten only adds 1 team from the midwest.

I agree I'm not a big fan of adding more then 1 team to the conference.

Couldn't agree more. Except for adding ND, I am completely against expansion and divisions and conference championship games.

If the Big Ten added only ND, it would stop all the scrambling for 16 team leagues right in its tracks. Big 12 and Big East would exhale, and celebrate.

In a perfect world, ND would join the Big Ten,leaving everyone else basically intact...and BTN would still rule the world.
