notre dame choked one away against OSU

That was way worse than any of the games Iowa ****** away this year or last. How long has it been since one of Iowa's opponents choked a game away like that?

Never. the other team always drains the three with a hand in their face from NBA range. Make their free throws....

Xavier game.

They didn't choke that game away just like we didn't choke away the Villanova game. When you score 9 points on 3 possessions and you're only down 12 it becomes anyone's game. Neither Xavier or Iowa "choked" during that 3 possession span.

My definition of choke is when you miss a bunch of free throws like we did or have a bunch of turnovers like ND did. Or a combination of both.

There is nothing more useless than discussing if something fits one person's definition of choke or not.

All I know is any game O$U wins is one too many.
We need to beat them black and gold both times this season. Thats right BOTH times.

I am waiting for the poster who claimed that Iowa's win against ND was not a quality win. Where are you?

Wasn't me but I'm not sure losing a close game helps your argument.

OSU seems to be a little overrated and college bball is full of parity.

In my opinion ND will be a bubble type team and it was at home. It's not much to brag about, but at this point it's probably our best win.

ND's leading scorer just got booted from school so they probably aren't even a bubble team now.

It's probably not at this point. Really no win over Notre Dame is that impressive until it's February and they're winning games they shouldn't win. Right now they are RPI 96 with a home loss to Indiana State and their three best wins being Indiana (neutral site), Bryant, and Delaware.
