Northwestern game thread.

We're wearing them down. We gave the ball away numerous times and are still up 6. We should stretch this lead out in the 2nd half...should be over at the 8 minute mark. Crawford playing 50 minutes in their last game won't help his cause late. Our defense has been suffocating...exactly what the 3 teams NW beat didn't do.
 
Iowa needs to give up the Jeckyl and Hyde impression they've been giving off and start playing a 40 minute game.
 
Iowa's still on pace to score more points in 40 minutes than any team has since us the first time. I'm not alarmed about the point total because part of it is because Northwestern won't shoot until they're's less than 10 on the shot clock and we've thrown the ball fans a few times. If we clean it up we'll run away with this. If now, we still will likely win because we're better and are playing good defense.
 
That said, this looks way too familiar to other times when good Iowa teams have played at a bad Northwestern team. I'm nervous despite the confidence of my posts.
 
We've only been called for 7 fouls in the first half. That's not bad, usually Woody and McCabe have that by themselves.
