North Endzone Tunnels

Terrible, terrible idea the way it's laid out. Those tunnels are monstrous (a bad thing on it's own), but with the stairs to either side the bottom third of the upper deck is useless. Definitely didn't glean that from the architectural drawings and videos.

I think it's going to look like ass with all the blank space and the bottlenecks leaving the stands are going to be ridiculous. Why not go with the smaller tunnels like the grandstands? You could have put more people in the deck as well and not lost capacity.

I guess the rows of bleachers couldn't come all the way down, because I'm assuming there will be handicapped seating in front blocking their view if they weren't higher. I'd think the rows of bleachers could've come down a little further though. They probably could've added one more row at least.

I bet there'll be handicapped seating on the other 2 levels as well, but they'll be behind the seating instead of in front.

If there isn't handicapped seating in front on the 3rd level, then someone needs an ass whooping. #BuyoutBarta

Its hard to tell whats going on from the live stream. From the rendering on the website it looks like the front of the tunnel will be for handicap, or cameras or standing room only spots...is my guess. Then club seating surrounding. I guess?

In this image you can see a person standing there looking out...kinda makes me think it will be standing room sorta spots

Hadn't seen that view showing seats in front of the walls between tunnels; that will help some.

I still think the tunnels are way too wide and they could have made them smaller. I've never been jammed up once I got to the smaller sideline tunnels leaving the stadium, only on the stairs.

They do seem needlessly...maybe comically...wide

Yep. North End Zone tunnels = CHA # of aisles

I went to Penn State for the first time two years ago, and Beaver Stadium is the perfect example of how you should set one up. We went in way early and walked around to check the place out. Their end zone upper decks are WAY bigger than our new one, and they have 5 small tunnels (roughly the same size as the Kinnick sideline ones). Escalators help out immensely, and keep people moving instead of in Kinnick where you have old people who can barely walk up the steps or a family with 5 little kids holding up traffic because they can't get their poop in a group.

The Kinnick tunnels are just going to be a congregation point for half the people when the game has 5 minutes left and people want to watch it but still leave quick. Dumb idea.

They better be putting up railings to hold the Fire-ball ingesters from tumbling off the stairs.

I love watching balance-challenged folks do tricks

If any of you are virgins there’s swearing in this video so don’t watch.

And since it’s the off season and we’re in that groove, here’s every chick I ever partied with in college after one and a half Mike’s Hard Lemonades.

It’s well worth the 10 minutes...what else do you have going on?
