yeah I get that but apparently the word commitment means nothing anymoreCause he's 17 or 18 and 17 and 18 year olds have poor impulse control.

there's two - is this his upcoming 4th season? 2 in three years, not bad?
so why did the kid commit now if he will jump at the next best offer?
because that is the game, as it is played, right now. don't want to lose a spot at iowa, but don't want to give up on the 'two in the bush'...i think iowa is in a good spot here. the likelihood of oregon and nd finding kids as good or better than this kid (if those two offers would cause him to jump) are good. they both are schools that are recruiting strongly.
early signing period would fit nicely in situations like this.
at least now, it's another guy - among our other verbals that we know that we have to recruit -
I'll wait until I hear about the success of them both more consistently before I add them to the pumping out list. But, they do have a shot, I guess.
This kinda reminds me of that kid Ozigbo who committed to Iowa state last year. As soon as he gets a "better" offer he will flip

I was thinking the same thing about Ross P. When got a better offer to Bama and flippped Iowa off. This kinda reminds me of that kid Ozigbo who committed to Iowa state last year. As soon as he gets a "better" offer he will flip
