Guys, Fran is purposefully getting us into the NIT. We'd definitely lose 1st round in the dance. In the NIT, we'll play at least 4 games and get some more experience. Development is the key.

The sky isn't falling and there is one thing different about this team from last year. We are tougher...and we defend much much better. This game will go Iowa's way...Northwestern doesn't defend like Minnesota and they aren't as deep at the guard position as Minnesota. We will wear them out on the inside and win by double digits.

Iowa will win at NW and then beat Rutgers...not even going to qualify this comment as an opinion. All of our losses have been to top 100 teams. NW and Rutgers are not top 100 teams.

Just having fun. I didn't think there was any way Iowa would lose to NW.

But I did say in another thread they would go 6-2 and wouldn't be surprised if one of those LL was at NW. But I didn't think it would really happen.
