Think about it at one time Bret Beliema and Bo Ryan were running wild in Madison. I will bet good ol Barry had to put out a whole bunch of small fires. As someone already pointed out Barry isn't exactly a saint. There is gotta be a longtime employee or two in that athletic department that has some stories to tell.

Brett was at least single when he was doing most of his running around in Madison wasn't he? I think Iowa was lucky the Alford deal was as quiet as it was. There seemed to be smoke tied to that whole rumor. Glad he got out not a day later than he did. Could you imagine if he'd have had a deal like this or Tom Davis? It'd be unbelievable how our fishbowl of an environment would have taken that. I bet Wisky basketball fans are hanging their heads. Imagine all the kids he's coached over the years... Will this be something that just goes away with time or will he be scorned forever in the schools eyes?

Another question the Wisconsin media need to probe hard: what did Greg Gard know and when did he know it?

I'm not willing to tie Gard into this deal. Bo is his friend and was his boss for all of those 6 years. What's he supposed to do?

I think Petrino should retire now too so he and Ryan can go into HOF together.... They deserve to go back to back with each other... That wouldn't be the least bit awkward would it?
