Look, if it were me, and you gave me the choice of starting my rookie year now and getting the bank going, versus staying in college, being a preseason AA, maybe a little Heisman type buzz, I would actually take the college route in a heartbeat, if it were not for the risk of injury in football.
Like Garza and Clark and Murray, being a big fish in the college pond for a year seems like a better year than being just another pro ball player. Sports Illustrated, ESPN, FoxSports, etc. are all going to cover college stars over NBA whatevers.
But again, this is football and not basketball.
If Coop can get a 15 million dollar insurance policy and some decent NIL money, I could see the allure of being a stud at Iowa versus fighting for a job with the Panthers.......
