I guess the roster cut down drama of nfl training camp is reduced to just one cut day. So fans have to wail until September 2nd to find out if Brian Hoyer or CJ Beathard get to be Matt Barkley's backup on Week 1.

Did not see Barkley in the week 4 stats for the game. Is he still on the roster?

Bad news guys. The announcers just told us that CJ Beathard is competing for the backup spot with a qb prodigy known as Matt Barkley. I remember watching his high school games on ESPN with Mater Dei, and he has just a cannon of an arm. Its not really fair to even expect CJ to compete with this kids awesome arm strength.

Barkley is available on the waiver wire, but it'll cost you $5 and a bag of Doritos to sign him.

CJ B, Kittle, Jaleel, Mabin, Desmond, and Croston make 53 man rosters.

Koehn, Leshun, and Mccarron, were cut.

Any I'm missing? (I realize Koehn was a '15 Hawk, but he's the only recent guy I saw get cut)
