We can talk about the playoff, the B10 Championship Game, an undefeated season, why we should be top 4, blah blah blah.

But none of that matters, we have to concentrate on the Gophers.

I haven't watched a ton of their games, but I will spend some time watching them this week.

What's everyone's thoughts?
 
Agree with the OP!!! Bring home the Pig!!! And the rest takes care of itself!!! GO Hawks!! Should be a great atmosphere Saturday night at Kinnick..
 
They played Ohio St tough.We will have our hands full with them.This game is going to be harder than Indiana.

I sure Hope so.We owe them big time.Will be playing for pig,first team to go 10-0 and playing in front of sell out crowd at night with new uniforms on black out game.It doesn't get any better than that.Plus first ever wrestling meet outside with record crowd.
 
Not sure why but Minny just doesn't scare me. Their offense will struggle to score against our D. Our offense is good enough to score enough points against their D.

Probably a low scoring game so won't impress the National media but probably similar to OSU, 2 TD win for the Hawks.

Their coach looks like he belongs in an ice shack on Mille Lacs, catching walleyes and pounding Budweiser.
 
Will it be sufficient to start concentrating on them after work hours or do I need to take the week off and concentrate on them all day? Also I'm helping my sister move today so my concentration level won't be as high as I would like for the next couple hours. I hope that doesn't cost us Saturday night.

^^ I agree, if the hawk defense plays and tackles really well then Minny will have trouble scoring more than 17 pts. But they have to be able to stop Leidner and Rbacks in the zone or option type run. Their pass game is not that great and their Tight End is in the NFL now. Need Miles Taylor to be healthy after that weird slide out of bounds hurt his need somewhat.

If CJ is on passing and the Oline is working well I can see the hawks scoring 27, 31, or 35 if they take care of the ball like they have all year. I dont think any of us expected the hawks to be holding Indy to 20 points thru 58 minutes yesterday. I thought hawks would win more like 42 or 45 to 35.
 
Here are a couple keys against the Goofs

1) Physical on them. Felt OSU wussy footed around too much with that gimmick offense. If we line up and run right at MN, and play clean, they will fold over the course of the game.

2) Make Leidner think and work. If you let him do what he wants, yes he can make a few plays. Pressure him, hit him a lot, and the mistakes will come the Hawks way, guaranteed. Leidner is poor under game pressure.

Won't be tougher than IU, cause it is a home game and it will be rocking. Their D is probably the 4th or 5th best we have played, maybe. Their O comes nowhere NEAR that of IU.
 
After thinking about it I concur with everyone else on here,Kinnick is going to be Electrified.No way we lose this game,Hawks roll the goofers.It would be great to pay them back and really put a hurt on them.Go Hawks
Going to be weird tailgating,sunsets at 4:45pm but the game doesn't start until 7:00.Tents are going to be put away while we still have daylight.
