Looks a little raw and stands up too much but definitely has size and height and tools to work with as a DE.

He's got to have a friend or family connection to Iowa, otherwise this is kinda weird. Wish him well though, and we have a good history with D-lineman.

-He played last year at Green River Prep School and was listed at 6-3, 263.
-It appears that he started his prep career at Iowa City West before moving to Washington.

Looks a little raw and stands up too much but definitely has size and height and tools to work with as a DE.

Yes he needs to get lower but looks like he's very good with his hands. Seems more suited as a third down specialist right now until he can learn to stay lower and collapse the pocket more to become a run stopper. Otherwise he was quick off the ball and shed blocks by getting in the chest of the O lineman very very well.
