They just keep rolling in. We just got a verbal from Illinois DE Riley Mcminn, another 3-star Illinois Junior. Gotta love how we're raiding the Illinois H.S. market right now. Couldn't find any video so post 'em if you got 'em.

This kid is HUGE. 6'7 and runs a decent 40 time. He is athletic and am sure he will get a shot at DE at Iowa but I see him as a starting offensive tackle in the future at Iowa. Looks like another solid prospect!

Another Aaron Kampman-type, or Mitch King (with the heighth)-type....this kid sounds good...

You beat me to it. I'm thinking the same thing. He's 6'7" :)
 
Nice to see the Hawks getting a commit out of a school they first visited last year when they were looking at Sean Robinson, (Purdue commit), which Iowa offered last year. You can bet they had an eye on Riley since then!
 
This video was posted in another thread. Somebody should get ahold of this kid and have him take it down before the ISU trolls see this. I believe Mcminn is the kid in the maroon shirt.

i like the size we're getting. and great athletes too. a lot of DE/TE/OLB/OT we seem to do well with that kind of player.

If this kid has this posted this video on YouTube, I highly doubt he's worried about what ISU fans or any other team fans think/say about it.

Reminds me of Jovon Johnson. Iowa went to his school to look at another player. Jovon knew they were coming and made sure they were aware of him and that he could play. It worked out well.
 
Sounds like a Julius Peppers clone after he gets another 50lbs on him....nice. Big,fast,rush d-end running down qbs in the future...all good.

No I'm pretty sure this skinny kid from rural Illinois with some solid Big 10 offers will become the next elite 2-sport college star, physical specimen, top 5 NFL draft pick, and multi-year NFL all pro. I can't believe you can guys can't see that...
