New Conference Win Predictions

Last night proves how anything can happen. Xavier loses to Gtown, Kansas to Okie St. and Pitt to NC St. All really good teams to pretty bad teams or at least below average.

Xavier - 15
Georgetown - 45

Kansas - 10
Oklahoma State - 57

Pitt - 46
NC State - 68

Iowa - 2

Purdue - 8
Maryland - 12
Northwestern - 71
Indiana (2) - 24
Wisconsin - 61
Ohio State - 79
Michigan - 28

Have already beaten...

Michigan State (2) - 12

So the biggest of those 3 upsets was a ranking difference of 47. We have beaten all 4 conference teams we have played that are within 47 spots of us in the rankings. And we only have 5 games left with teams that are within 47 spots of us in the rankings.

Iowa State at 18, Notre Dame at 26 and Dayton at 44 are the 3 teams that have beaten us. None of these 3 teams are 47+ spots behind us in the rankings.

Barring our biggest upset loss of the season there are 5 somewhat risky games left. Since we have already won 4 equally or more difficult games thus far it's hard for me to see us losing more than 3 of these 5...and that's being pessimistic based on what we have done to date this season.

Edit - Wichita State is 23 and Florida State is 34...both Iowa wins.
