shocking your meteoric riser (woads) can't bring in the 4* RBs given how epic his game has become. i suppose once they see the stable of RBs woads has, they back off......
coker's services are out there to be had - surprised we haven't seen him sporting clown gear yet.....

it's funny with all these studs in the backfield that their 2nd leading rusher was Woody at 375 yards.......with that kind of talent no wonder Barkley had 2nd thoughts.....
Who's Garmon? Ohhhh yeah... he's that kid that's still going to proms and still going through puberty. Yeah.... I'm sure he's better than Shontrelle Johnson, James White, Jeff Woody, Duck Hollis, Robert Standard, and DeVondrick Nealy who the staff thinks might be the best of all of them.
Now where do you think Hill saw himself in that mix? And none of those listed above will even be seniors next year either.
Hill made the right choice. Garmon will probably be his only competition next year.... that's it.
It's just that if he were a real man he would have let Rhoads know as soon as McCall and Coker quit instead of waiting until just days before signing day. Oh well... kids with that kind of character belong in IC.

it will be interesting who Paw pulls out of his hat this late in the game. but like all top-shelf coaches I'm sure he has several RBs waiting in the wings to commit.

The ISU fan responses in this thread are just great.
Who cares if someone is 4 stars? ISU has had several 4 star RB's over the years.... most of whom were very average or not good at all and ended up quitting.... kinda like Iowa's RB's do.

A List of guys who never made it on the field for ISU:
1. Barkley Hill
2. Anyone who ever won a Big 12 conference title or finished in the consensus top 25. Ever.
Just when I think he can't say anything dumber.....he goes and totally redeems himself!
I'll be surprised if Rhoads signs any RB to replace the loss of Hill. Like I've said, RB is the position of least need on the ISU team right now.

yeah, no doubt. Surprised Paw would even waste a scholarship on Hill with that stockpile. He was probably just doing it to hurt iowa, i suppose.

ISU fan: Barkley Hill is a great pick up for Rhoads and looks to be a contributor in the near future. Wait. What? He decommitted and is going to Iowa? Barkley Hill is horrible! He would have never seen the field. Who wants that walking injury on their team?
Just off the top of my head.... Stevie Hicks was a 4 star and he was very average... probably a bit below average. Webster Patrick was another one. He quit like most Iowa RB's. Jason Scales might have been a 4 star, I'm not certain? He was below average as well.
