New Commit!

THIS IS BULLCRAP!!! These kids should honor the verbal commitments they made to their school.

These are 16-18 year old kids making verbal commitments. Things change. It's like being engaged before getting married, better to do the right thing and call it off before making it official.

Shoot, the coaches don't stick around if better offers come along, why should these kids?

Pretty sure his post is full of sarcasm. He's taking a jab at Iowa fans for the whole Jaleel Johnson "fiasco" and possibly switching to MSU.

of course. you'er so smart - must be something to be on board with the clowns and the meteoric shot that is woads.

I dont really see how you took offense to what I said?

I feel like when you read a post from someone you know is an ISU fan, no matter how not offense and/or true what they're saying might be, you find a way to read into it as disrespectful towards Iowa or flaming in some way. you really need to lighten up.

Iowa has no one with real experience returning next year. I don't see Canzeri carrying the load and being able to take the ball for an entire season. a HS kid sees this as an opportunity. wouldn't surprise me in the least if he was told he may have the opportunity to come in and compete for a spot as a freshman.

I think his response and that of many in this thread is in response to posts in other threads made by ISU fans that all but guaranteed Hill would be a Cyclone.

I don't know if Iowa St. has more talent at RB than Iowa. Do they have more numbers? Sure, but that's a different thing entirely. Remember, Iowa just received a commitment from the 19 rated RB in 4 star Greg Garmon, a guy that could have went anywhere he wanted. Now he hasn't played a snap on the collegiate level, but his ranking alone is better than anything Iowa St. currently has I believe. Plus, Iowa just gets better players than Iowa St.

you cant say one team has more talent based on recruits. ISU has three guys who have proven they can be very good backs in their system (Woody, White, Johnson). Iowa has a lot of unproven talent and guys lacking experience.

and obviously Iowa gets "better players" than ISU! after all, Iowa is America's team...
:D

And ISU is Barnum and Bailey's team.

Im not sure he will ever play a down at Iowa at RB and I really dont care. Whats funny is Iowa can go in and get a kid that has been committed to Iowa State forever. Let me know when ISU gets an instate kid to make a switch. Will NEVER happen.

what position do you see him at? safety?

My condolences on your injuries/academic issues/legal trouble you will incur from the Iowa running back hating gods.

Scout just has him at a 2 star, I could have swore he was a 3 star earlier in the year.

Maybe that will bump up now that he has committed to Iowa. :D

3 star on rivals, parade all american.

regarding full back - maybe so - i've never seen him other than in picture, so who knows. let's just hope he is a positive contributor to the team.

Come on guys, grow up!! I'm a life long Hawk fan but sometimes I'm embarrased by our fan base. we just stole a player from our neighbor!! imagine if he stole your girl, real Cool huh?? Yeah I'm happy but sure not gonna gloat.( next time may happen to us.) Gongratulations Mr. Hill, welcome to the Hawkeye family. My only word of advice?? This is IOWA!! There is no last name. GO HAWKS!!

ISU has a lot of depth at RB. Iowa has virtually none. this is a pretty easy choice for a HS kid with some talent IMO. He knows he'll get to come in and play relatively soon at Iowa. all of you will jump around here pulling on your junk and yelling "see, see, see it's because we're so much awesomer than those clowns" but in reality I think it's just a kid who sees he'll get his shot sooner at Iowa.

Not that your post deserves a response, but I think everyone almost enjoys it more because ISUer and ISUFB were spouting off all day about how solid he was even after the visit this weekend..
