New coaches I would be okay with.

Bob Stoops just signed a contract that locks him up at Oklahoma until the year KF's contract expires. We would have a better chance at getting Mark Stoops (which I would be alright with). Nobody, NOBODY should want Bo to coach at Iowa. I would honestly want BB to come to Iowa, and I think KF's recent struggles led to BB taking the Arkansas job. Would seem classless and a HUGE slap in the face to jump ship from Wisc to another B1G school, coaching at Arkansas gives him a few years to distance himself from Wisc and gives him more coaching experience in a better conference.

Most of us "put our money where our mouth is" when we shell out unconscionable ticket prices to pay for that clown Ferentz to constantly lose to Northwestern, Iowa State and MAC teams.

NW will run circles around Iowa this year. Their backup QB thrashed a decent Cal team on the road. Fitz will outcoach KF as always but this year they have more talent too.

Nebby fans want Pellini fired for losing 4 games every season, and bad defense. Sooner fans want Stoops fired for losing BCS games and missing National Championships. Wisconsin internet fans were cheering when Bielema left because he was "holding them back" from some kind of greatness. Other than that, some practical and realistic choices for a new head coach.

Basically every fanbase except Alabama wants their coach fired right now anyway.

I've heard that theory before and I think it might be true. BB might have seen the 4-8 record and decided the time was right. Personally, I would really like to see BB on the Iowa sidelines someday. I think he wins at Iowa. Ironically, if KF adopted BB's style on offense I think we'd rarely lose to the ISU's, Minnesota's or MAC teams of the world. That style would really fit with KFs mindset to.

I don't have a specific name but I like the model of finding an NFL coordinator or even well respected assistant with some college coaching experience.

NFL coordinators are especially unwanted in todays college football environment. NFL offenses are stone age people in mud huts trying to draw up plays, defensive coordinators are guys who can motivate overpaid independent contractors. It doesn't translate.

Yep, nfl seems to be a very different game from college now days.

My first thought when I read the headline was "Coach Boal (edit: Bohl) from North Dakota State." he's proving it on the field. Talk about doing more with less. Several of you beat me to it, though.

The next name would be the head coach at the one program Bohl can't beat, whoever is the coach at Sam Houston St. (edit: Willie Fritz) Talk about recruiting pipelines to Texas! (edit: senior moment ... apparently NDSU has beaten SHSU for the FCS championship each of the last 2 years. Doh!)

3rd - Rob Ash. Check out his record, folks. Turnaround artist wherever he goes. Montana State is now an FCS powerhouse, and were 1 - 10 when he took over. All of this in a state that USED TO BE dominated by Montana U. Montana U has 5 appearances in the final FCS Championship game since 1996. Ash has flipped the center of power in that state over to Montana St. Former Drake coach. Runs an efficient and effective offense. He's already proven he can turnaround programs into winners...

In two or three years when Davis retires, Kirk will need to bring in a new OC who he believes would be able to take over the HC job whn Kirk retires.

Supply and demand, brah.

GarBar charges what he does because he can.

And I would guess the OP doesnt buy tickets from the ticket office.

Hes one that thinks because he bought a couple t shirts from GDR that he is supporting the University.
