negative recruiting thread

Haters say all of iowas recruits suck because they either dont have enuf stars, when our recruits do have stars than they talk duece cuz nobody good offered them so said player than must suck.
The title then attracts iowa board haters to look, i than want to see if they talk duece on nebraska or if they only hate iowa.
 
Are you pointing out that Iowa and ISU offered that kid and then nebraska landed him? Are you saying Iowa is the crappy school for this kid? Are you trying to prove that the former Iowa DL coach landed a recruit that Iowa went after? Do you even understand what you wrote?

This thread is awful and whatever point you are trying to make you are doing a great job at not making it.

Please take sometime to gather you thoughts and get back to us. Thanks.

Before you get condescending to another poster, you might want to make sure you know what you're talking about. Neither Iowa nor ISU offered that kid. His point was he committed to Nebraska and his only other two offers were Tulsa and South Dakota State.

Yeah, I now get most of what the OP is torqued off about. I think even over the last 30 years most people would look at even top iowa recruits and dismiss many of them as really going to be all stars/all american types.

I trust the coaches are going after and signing all around student athletes as best they can. There are going to be some academic washouts, a few head cases, some moral/ethical washouts (hopefully few), injuries, and some top recruits who dont pan out. That happens to all teams.

I guess I didnt know the background on this recruit .

But I think overall KFs coaches do a good recruiting job. we dont know how many 4-5 stars they go after but probably not many.

I'm going to say this as nicely as possible, please don't take it the wrong way.

Nobody is going to take you seriously with your grammar and quite frankly your above post makes little to no sense.

I recommend installing Firefox which has a spell/grammar check to help you or simply slow down and type complete and coherent sentences.

I understand that but ISU and Iowa are on his list of schools. So what is his point? Is he lumping Iowa with those schools? Looks like Im not the only one that thinks this thread is a swing and a miss. I dont see how he has proven any points. Next time he could do a little better finding an example that didnt have Iowa, ISU, Tulsa, and SDT lumped together.

I have not been critical of the coaching staff for recruiting and actually just wrote a post praising KF for the recruits as of late.

The only thing it is missing is horrible and irrelevant stats.

712, please list the height and weight of said offers reported for said players.

Can't we all just get back to judging 17-18 kids based solely on their height and weight?

Iowa is only listed because thats a school hes interested in, the column next to that is offered, see how theres no check next to iowa? That means nebraska got a recruit that was offered by nobody

First off Im on your side but your listing Iowa with the nobodys that you are refering to. I understand that Iowa didnt offer.

If a kid was interested in Nebraska and Iowa got him then people wouldnt be complaining. But you just showed that Nebraska got a recruit when the kid was interested in Iowa, ISU, Tulsa and South Dakota State? Are you kidding me right now? Do you not undstand that you are lumping Iowa with those schools? Do you think Iowa is on par with South Dakota State?


Jeeeze if you are going to start a thread to prove a point then do it. However you have done nothing but insult Iowa and make yourself and the 712 look silly.

Whos listing iowa with them? We just signed a whole class last year that people complained had no offers from anyone. This thread is proving nebraska does the same thing. So if people want to talk bad about iowa for doing it than they can use this thread to talk bad about nebraska for doing it... if u dont understand and other people do than more than likely my post isnt the problem.
