Need to get TEnds involved

This is about the only thing I see that is really missing from the offense. The TEnds need to threaten the safeties and occupy them and or linebackers. Yes the officials missed a PI against Beyer but there need to be more targets for the Tends. And on some of those 3rd and 4th and short pass plays the TEnds are the best mismatch.

Running game is looking ok, wide receiver play is ok, blocking is good, Nate looking good.

Still have not seen a breakout run....too many 3 yard gains.

Rutgers was still stacking the box, just like we always see. That was especially so on each of those drives that started inside the ten (Read, a whole lot of them). Given the formation the Hawks were running into, we should be fairly pleased with the production on the ground. Stanley’s sneak especially, he should’ve been getting a yard or two every time, but five yards after contact, not once but twice? Nice job Nate. It was definitely an improvement on last year. If our WRs continue to be threats, we will see big runs.
