And mentioning if the tourny games were played today, they would be the 4th seed. Which although technically true, they fail to mention they have played one more game than Ohio St or Iowa.

Iowa takes care of business today it will take care of all of that mirage 4th place Nebraska talk.

edit....OSU has played the same amount of games as Nebraska. Both are at 9-7, hawks at 8-7.

Nebby has a damn good coach. hopefully he moves on sooner than later to a better gig that isn't in the B1G.

^^^ I agree, although he didn't have a lot of success his first two years, he has this team playing with anybody. Curious to see if they can keep it up the next couple years.

If Iowa and Nebby played today...Neb by 5-8 points easy...they're incredible right now.

Iowa owns tie breaker of kNU. With Iowa now 9-7, kNU is now the 6th seeded team if the B1G started today. If IU beats O$U, Iowa is 4th seed as O$U would be 9-8.

We'd win by 10+ easy. I say with confidence because we don't play them again (most likely) and I choose to be quite positive.

We need Indiana to beat Ohio State today at Bloomington. Wonder if they will, make the same mistake a lot of teams make going gung ho against the Hawks and being fatigued against the next team. Like the severe beatdown MSU gave us three years ago. They were flying high playing ThugBall and lost the next game at NW.

It is amazing how quickly a team can get decent or good by playing quality teams day in and day out. This yr the big 12 has been good but top to bottom they aren't the big 10 and you can see how a better coach and conference have elevated Nebraska. I don't like the school but I respect what they have done especially since bball wasn't why they were brought to the conference.

I feel like that is a good thing. I think our team plays better with a chip on their shoulder. They bought into the press clippings then started struggling. Now they need to fix it and play like a cornered animal.

And MSU goes beyond physical at times, and does get away with some "thug ball".
