Nebraska Pre game antics.

I was at the game and watched Nebraska run through the Hawks as they were warming up sideline to sideline. A lot of the Nebraska players were jaw jacking during their classless act.

Also, why were the Nebraska players and coaches running, some walking, out when the colors were being presented for the anthem. Even their cheerleaders were going up and down the south end zone waving with their flags while colors were coming out to mid field.

After 1st kickoff a Nebraska player was taking a cheap shot at one of the Hawks. Fant getting punched by their safety and several other cheap shots were thrown by Nebraska.

Classless and trashy. Plain and simple.

I also didn't like that their starters huddled during the wave while only their nonstarters on the sidelines waved for the kids. Unfortunately, I was stick surrounded by their fans. one of their Jerk Fans said he couldn't believe the state of Iowa couldn't fill a 65,000 seat stadium. I just looked at him and said you mean two 60,000 seat stadiums. I then politely told him that they should have their team stop by Ames on the way home and give the clones a chance to curb stomp them.

Thats typical Nebby not realizing their teams suck which helps result in crappy attendance.

Scott Frost wants to instill machismo into his team. You really can't do that until you are as physical as the other team in making football plays. All the other stuff is just noise and comes off as desperation. It just motivates a team that is already going to abuse you.

I had considerable respect for what Frost had done prior to getting the job at Nebraska. I think he was the right choice for them...and he's shown he can recruit talent for his offense already. Martinez is the real deal. He's going to be a nightmare for a few more years. After listening to Frost's press conferences along the 6 game losing streak, my opinion of Frost was diminished by his incessant whining. I'll won't argue that he didn't get his team playing better, smarter, and tougher...he did...but the attitude and antics like yesterday all come from the head coach.

Think about it. Nebraska is arrogant and they are 4-8. That tells you all you need to know.

Should have told him fans were disappointed from losing the "big" games this year. Lot's of people skip the shit games against the "losing" schools like Nebraska or Rutgers. That should shut him up.

Say what you want about Nebraska but they are trying to get to the next level with Frost. Iowa on the other hand is fine with mediocre seasons where we lose every meaningful game. I’d love to have a staff that sets high goals and is determined to reach them.
