Nebraska Pre game antics.

Your an idiot if you don’t see the potential there with that qb and all of the top recruits coming in. So buy your tickets to watch Iowa lose to an average Pac12 team in a shitty bowl and GFY!

What you call high goals I call delusion. Nebraska is not ever reaching that level again, and barring another magical run or some bagmen in recruiting, Iowa isn't either. That's not an Iowa football reality, that's a college football reality.

We lose every meaningful game? In three of our four trophy games the past four years...result.

Iowa - 12
Nebraska, Iowa State, & Minnesota - 0

Every year we play Nebraska, Iowa State, and Minnesota...every year they are meaningful games. Our problem is that we can't make plays at crucial times in 2-3 big games every year. Wisconsin, Penn State, Purdue, and NW all came down to 3-4 big plays. We just couldn't make enough of them to get the games to go our way.

Or even a few ref calls.
In the ones we lost it was a combo of things. Remove one thing, a bone headed play, a ref call, a play call or time out, making a catch or play.
We were way closer to an 11 win season than a 7 win. We left at least a 13 point swing in that game yesterday. Destroyed Illinois.
Its tough when you play the defending b10 west champs right out of the gate and it doesn't go your way. When many things didn't go our way all season.
I'm proud of the Hawks for keeping grinding.

Yeah yeah yeah, blah blah blah, you don't think we have ever seen a good qb before or beaten a OSU, Mich, or PSU team that is loaded with talent?

One thing is for sure Nebraska fans have the strongest jaw muscles in all the b10. You would have to to run your mouth that much.
 
Nebraska coaches and players remind me of another classless team. Dantonio and MSU. They’re fanbase reminds me of ISU. If they are concerned about being as “mediocre” as Iowa, then why do they keep hiring former Iowa coaches or players during their last 3 regimes. Right now, as I see it, “mediocre” would be a giant step up for the bugeaters.

You know what I meant by meaningful games. When we lose to Purdue and NW its hard to get excited about having won a stupid trophy game with Minnesota or Nebraska.

If we had lost to Minnesota or Nebraska, those would have been "meaningful". BTW, Minnesota trucked Purdue and is beating Wisconsin as I type this by 20-7.

Uh, dork22 IS a Nebraska fan. Or at minimum, NOT an Iowa fan.
 
Scotty “Frosted my tips at Great Clips” will taste the back end of a turd covered boot for many years. Similiar to most Corncob coaches they came, they saw, they got ran.
 
I like how they are beating their chest after the 4 wins they had this season. I think Frost has them on the right track, but you’d think this season might have humbled the Skers a little and slowed their roll. Frost might be great, but they aren’t going to just leap frog WI, IA and NW in a couple of years. Let alone PSU, UM and TOSU. Nebraska isn’t winnning anything of note for a while

Also, why were the Nebraska players and coaches running, some walking, out when the colors were being presented for the anthem. Even their cheerleaders were going up and down the south end zone waving with their flags while colors were coming out to mid field.

After 1st kickoff a Nebraska player was taking a cheap shot at one of the Hawks. Fant getting punched by their safety and several other cheap shots were thrown by Nebraska.

Classless and trashy. Plain and simple.

They are a long way from mediocre.
