Jan is in over her head. From x's and o's to subs, to evaluation of talent. This keeps up Addy enters the portal, along with 2 freshman. Shit show

Like you said many times this year, Duke - They're gonna be good but a lot of freshman growing pains. That definitely includes Jan!
She's smart and knows the game but is really overthinking things and chasing her tail for something that works. Making a lot of dumb personnel choices in meantime and it's now too late. Team psyche is destroyed.
IF there is to be any silver lining this year, it's gotta come thru simplification, focus on the scorers (Hannah and Lucy) more pt for the frosh (did Ava even play?), fine tune positional roles and expectations, quicker timeouts for teaching moments and build for the next 3 years. The have potential to be special if she doesn't lose them this year.

Guyton needs to be starting. Like now.
Yes, she missed the layup but she rushed her release because she knew she was out of time.
No one else on that team could have driven and turned the corner like she did.
Jan struggles like Fran in situational basketball.
Fran under coaches and ends games with timeouts in his pocket. Frustrating as hell. Even though Jan has assisted for decades, it is much different when in the spotlight. Tonight she had a strange mix of over AND under coaching. She panicked and grasped with some head scratching substitutions at the end. Wasn’t aware of the foul situation? Should have been disrupting their flow especially that freshman.
There is hope for her, but then again Fran has never gotten better.

Haven’t read any of the comments cause I just finished watching the game myself. Iowa lost this game at the FT line. Game should’ve never went to OT. Two things:
Hannah will never go back to the 4 and guyton should be starting.

Hope not to point of losing people but now is time to circle wagons on the roster and get talent on the floor. Can not squander such a quality roster. Next year, Iowa will have 9 top 100 players at multiple positions

That's too many good players to be losing auch winnable games. Let em play.
