Surprised it isn't more. Nebraska's Bo Spencer is playing. There was question if he would or not after getting injured last game. That's bad news for Iowa as he's their best player and this game being on the road doesn't help. Can't understand how Iowa is so putrid on the road.

I seriously have no read on this game.

I think Iowa beats NW to end the season, but this one... I just don't have a beat on it.
 
I think it is going to take another big night from Gattens to pull it out. The way that kid is playing, no doubt could he easily drop another 30.

I feel bad for you guys that he didn't have Fran for his 4 years. His all around game looks completely improved this year. That's pretty rare with seniors. Reminds me a big of how Diante Garrett flurished when Hoiberg took over.

Sadler is on the hot seat and it is the last home game for his seniors, which always makes for a dangerous environment. Gatens will draw mega attention, hopefully Oglesby is on. Confidence level not high based on uninspired play against IL.

There also was a post before the Illinois game that Weber & Illinois had given up & wouldn't win another game.

Good news is that we lost to them on a night when a guy averaging 7.5 ppg went off for 25 and we essentially played no defense. Bad news is that was a must win game that started a trend of playing uninspired basketball in important, winnable games.

Unless we get some production from Basabe, McCabe and Cartwright, I don't think we can win with our best 3 vs. their best 3. If memory serves, we had 53 points from our top 5 scorers and 1 from everybody else against IL. These 3 guys have to score some points, as NE will swarm Gatens.
 
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Richardson won't go 6-7 from behind the arc in this one.

Dude averages 1 made 3 in 2.4 attempts per game.
