I can criticize my team, eff anyone else who does. Delusional fanbase and admin that have calendars that say 1995. They will never win another NC, it's a different era.
What exactly did he say? The truth?
We all know the program has been average over the past 5 years but come on, we don't even take offense when a competitor's nerdy/arrogant AD takes a subtle shot at Iowa in a widely covered press conference?

Well, Iowa almost never does. REALITY.Make no mistake, they don't think Iowa should ever beat them...DELUSION.
I watched the press conference. Paraphrasing...The AD said they have to consider where Iowa is/was as a program when evaluating the "big picture", concerning the come-back win.
He also referenced schools "paying a lot of money" and not getting wins. No idea if he was referring to Iowa or not. He was addressing a question of the $ for a new coach.
Make no mistake, they don't think Iowa should ever beat them, or that it should ever be close. DELUSION.
Here's the link to the video and small write up from the Omaha World Herald...

Quote from Eichorst...“But in the final analysis, I had to evaluate where Iowa was.â€Moments later, he was asked to clarify that statement.
“As I looked back on the outcomes, I’m trying to look at who are championship-caliber football teams at that moment and how competitive were we in those games?â€
Quote from the writer...Eichorst carries himself with more humility (perhaps the No. 1 virtue in the state of Nebraska). But his message Sunday was right out of Pederson’s playbook. The biggest win of Nebraska’s season can’t be Iowa. No. No. No.
It looks to me like he said how they did against Iowa was irrelevant in terms of the decision to make a change.
Meant to give you an upvote but may have accidentally hit down. Sorry.Gary Barta thought whatever Kurt told him to think.
