NCAA Corruption. Huh, Bruce Pearl?

Unfortunately, the more that are implicated or charged, the more watered down the charges will be, IMO. They won't want to kill all of college b-ball.

I just hope is son is somehow involved too. He's so f'ing annoying.
 
It'll be interesting to see how many kids that are currently enrolled might end up being not eligible. Or next years kids.. I can see this process dragging on to where by the time there's a resolution the one and done kids seasons are over. How many people realize that this 'process' of landing kids starts way earlier then the SR year in HS of these kids. Especially the 5 star studs. These kids and their families are being handed envelopes of cash and boxes of sneakers way earlier than that.
I still haven't read or heard a peep from Calipari... You'd have thought ESPN would have had a microphone up his nose by now... I bet he's been scrambling to try and get his ducks all in a row hidden off the grid. Nobody would be higher up the list of suspected offenders than him. I'd even dig into coach K. He's been landing stud kids forever too. I don't worship the ground he walks on either. If he's clean great but don't ignore him and give him a pass. Hope they dig into every one of them

He's creepy. Just gives me the creeps for some reason. I think there's a very good chance he could be, IMO. What father in that line of work is not going to give his son an inside advantage. Maybe not but one wonders.

My guess is that Coach K is a LOT smarter than Pitino and Calipari, and would know just how to distance his program and reputation from the sleazier types. Let's not forget, he learned from Bobby Knight. Fault Knight all you want, but sleazy recruiting was rarely--if ever-- hinted at under his watches at Indiana and Texas Tech. I put Coach K in a different category--sore loser. Any/every time Duke has a season sliding into "crap", he takes a leave of absence for surgery or whatever.

Yeah it wouldn't surprise me if he's not cheating along the same lines. But if he were it's not about doing it smarter if there's folks on the other side the shoe side that are rolling and naming names it doesn't matter the FBI can follow the money. He might not be the worst kind of dirty but I doubt he's clean. Lance Armstrong doped too nothing quite frankly would surprise me
 
So what is the deal with Bruce Pearl? Has he always been dirty? Or did he turn dirty after his attempts to be honest and report cheaters backfired in the 80's?

Hiding from the NCAA is one thing. Hiding from a US district attorney is another thing entirely. You see people that would never sell you you to the NCAA, would sell you out in 1.3 seconds to the district attorney who is charging you with a crime.

Maybe he is smarter or maybe he is lucky........he did have to change his philosophy and bring in the one and done kids.
