NC A&T TV?

Regardless, we are likely all guilty of this. If you watch highlight videos on YouTube, you are every bit as guilty. And why do we watch those? Because it's fun and we like it. Is that really a better reason than that it's BS, making people pay extra?

If it makes you feel better, tell yourself whatever you want. TV shows do the same thing as Big10. I watched season's 1, 2, and 3 of breaking bad on netflix. Should I have to pay $7.99 a month to watch those shows, that were shown on cable for "free" before? Should I download these show illegally for "free" since they shouldn't be charging?

Nah, if it's on the internet they feel like they are entitled to it for free. These flimsy excuses about the coupon code just gives them an excuse to make themselves feel better about it. Screw the BTN! Heck they only wrote a check to the University of Iowa for 22 million dollars last year. Money being used to pay for student athletes and to make improvements. By gawd we should not have to pay 10 bucks to watch a months worth of non conference games on the internet. They won't honor an expired coupon then to heck with them!

It ain't like ESPN doesn't give the Big Ten some serious dough. Yet their streaming is available for free.

LMAO! Now you are comparing ESPN to the BTN?

They got ads on ESPN3?

ESPN has long been the king of overcharging subscribers. Yet even they don't charge for ESPN3. And no, there isn't much in the way of ads. But you'd think the BTN would make the streaming free, and then include commercials. I'm willing to sit through ads. It's what I'd have to do if the game were on TV.

You guys can think whatever you want to make yourselves feel good about your holiness. I guarantee that you intentionally break petty laws on a regular basis and attempt to justify them in one way or another. Find me a person that doesn't, and I will be astounded.

Define Petty law...

That is how ESPN3 is paid for is commercials and I am sure if the BTN could get advertisers to pay for you to watch BTN for free they would do it.

It's all about perspective, but everyone picks and chooses certain laws that they think are silly and certain rules that don't apply to them. Like speeding, or under-age drinking, or copyright laws, or smoking within 20 feet of a restaurant entrance, or curfew laws, or laws governing the rules of public assembly. For someone to even pretend like they don't justify certain actions that others view as reprehensible is ridiculous.

I honestly could care less, I just think it is funny how people make excuses to avoid paying 10 bucks. If you want to get it for free, fine just say you are to cheap to pay it. But making up all these excuses, or "principles", is comical.

Nobody was making any kind of excuses until YOU came in here riding your high horse.

You are right, everyone breaks petty laws (some intentionally, others unintentionally). Lets just call a spade a spade is all I'm saying. If you aren't willing to pay for something, and then someone offers it to you for free, just admit what you are doing.....taking it illegally. I also find it funny that you use this rational to justify taking something illegally....since others break petty laws, this is ok.....

I have a horse? :D

Honestly, for them to offer these games via the internet for free without anybody buying advertising is impossible. There are still expenses involved in providing this service. Let's face it, when you seen there was a coupon for a free month very few of us would have continued the service past the first month. A month is all we needed to get us through the non conference schedule and the rest of the games are all televised. Why would any business give away the service that was in highest demand? Without the subscribers, like myself, that are not to cheap to pay the $10 there is no way they could afford to stream the games. So lucky for you there are people willing to pay so that way you can watch it for free on a site that hacks it.

Someone is just upset that he is paying $10 a month while the rest of us aren't paying anything. Sucks to be him.

Yup. It's illegal to stream games.

Yup. I'm going to continue to do it.

Yup. The BTN is overcharging, and they are asking for it. If they would just get advertising and pay for the streaming that way, they'd make all the money they could ever want. Instead, ten bucks a month for a service many of us are already paying for? No thanks.

This, calling stealing or whatever you want but it doesn't bother me. At the end of the night I am able to see the game and keep my $10.
