NBA Playoffs

That they have, the West has been really fantastic. Every series has been competitive. McHale, Brooks and Jackson all coaching for their jobs right now.

Great playoffs so far. Its interesting that you have a 2 time defending NBA champion at they are down the list a bit in terms of stories of the playoffs so far.

LaMarcus Aldridge is exploding.
Curry has always been very good but now he is flirting with elite.
Washington duo of Beal and Wall look fantastic.
Indiana being on the verge of one of the biggest collapses in NBA history.
#1 seeded Spurs yet again struggling with an 8 seed
Is it just me or does drama and disaster seem to follow Dwight Howard?
Does Nene actually care about winning this series? Wow!
And of course, the dominant story, the Clippers. Not the fact that they have the fire-power to get to the finals but their owner yet again making a fool of himself.

I'm just waiting for the Durant to DC rumors to start up soon. Two years left on that contract, a Wall-Beal-Durant trio looks real nice.

And you're right about Miami having a very quiet playoffs so far, who would have thought before the years that they might be looking at a Bobcats-Raptors-Wizards path to the Finals?

The NBA is the most competitive it's probably ever been in my opinion and and 8 seed up 3-2 illustrates just that. Yet you have 1 player that dominates. When wil our culture finally embrace the enjoyment of watching the era of the best basketball player ever??

Too bad this Donald Sterling mess is taking away from it. Bleepin Pacers, just no way to make a Hawks/wizards semifinal sexy, lipstick on a pig. Was Danny Granger really that important?

Honestly, at this point a Hawks-Wizards matchup will be much better to watch than the Bulls-Pacers. Both the Hawks and Wizards can score, the Bulls and Pacers are two of the worse offenses in the league. Things are lining up very nicely for the Heat, they might head into the finals well rested after only having played 14 or so games, while their opponent is likely going to have to survive three brutal rounds in the West.

I give Brooklyn a fighter's chance, but if I were a betting man i would put the Heat in the finals. from a purist standpoint a hawks-wizards matchup would be a better matchup, but man the Hawks only won 36 regular season games, i dunno give me Vogel/Thibidauex(sp?) mucking it up.

The Hawks won 38 games, you're selling them short. Brooklyn might make it interesting but they have to get by Toronto first.

Bulls last stand tonite vs the Wiz. Home game, the Bulls need to dig deep and keep this series alive. C'mon Jo Noah!

Love Jeff Van Gundy and couldn't agree more that there is no way that Zach Randolph should be suspended for game 7. It wasn't a punch, it was a push.

I'm not huge on saying guys are clutch or not, but Lillard is clutch, the dude just hits game winners. Terrible D by the Rockets though, how do you get that good of a look on a simple screen?

Just phenomenal basketball being played right now. Great game between the Clippers and Warriors
