NBA can't shake loose of thuggish image

College sports are pretty freaking corrupt, to a point that it in itself is kind of a joke, yet people on a college sports message boards complain about the NBA because some black guys have tattoos and like to celebrate made baskets.

Soccer is worst of them all. Hell, just yesterday in le Manchester Derby, teh two managers got into a shouting match and had to be separated in teh middle of teh game.

Also, interesting fun fact, that game had 650 million viewers world wide.

They can't shake the THUGGISH image, because most of them come from THUG backgrounds. And most of America already knows this..........

Nowhere did i say its ok for NFL players to have a bounty program or do time. My post was about the NBA since the stuff i listed relates to very recent events.

What i dont like is bumping refs and giving players concussions via cheap shots. Feel free to invent other things though

Yes, but you seemed so exasperated about the "thuggish" behavior that you cannot understand why anyone would allow themselves to watch it. My point was the NBA seems to have fewer problems with this than other leagues, yet you suddenly cannot tolerate basketball any longer. A stretched out teh thread. Feel free to keep wrapping it around your neck.

Understand your point. its the NBA playoffs right now which is supposed to be the showcase for the league. the behavoir being showcased should be undesireable.

You can't just say "race card" as a shield against saying racist things. That's not how it works. You can't complain about tame incidents, use racially tinted buzz words, and then cry when you get called for it.
