I was there and boy was it sad, talked to a few Minnesota fans who said attendance was hurt because sectionals was going on the day of the final 4. I was very surpised that Iowa had very few fans there considering how close it was.

I think Rob Koll and the NWCA got their answer as to how important the fans think this Dual Championship is.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that a few more people show up in Des Moines.

MN is a hockey state first, foremost, and only. I have a lot cousins who wrestled on good MN high school teams. Visited them spring break years ago in a year when MN had won the championship and was expecting to get some crap about it. Nope, they didn't even know that the Gophers won D1's. But they could name off every player for every line change for every team in the frozen 4 for NCAA hockey.

if the duals were held in DSM it would have a great crowd. UNI's dome is just not spectator friendly for wrestling events
