National Championship thread

I know OSU 's Oline coach isn't a Ferentz so he could not coach at Iowa, but they have payed pretty good and should get MVP as a unit.
 
If OSU doesn't turn the ball over 4 times they completely destroy Oregon. Wow

PS - Big Ten isn't fast or athletic enough to hang with the SEC/PAC-12

This is the sad part. I think the big 10 is getting a lot better while Iowa is getting worse. Iowa has always been an ugly team but watching Oregon or OSU run something as simple as a swing pass compared to Iowa's version is enough evidence to demonstrate just how far The Hawks have fallen.
 
A very very sincere tip of the hat to the Buckeyes. Great for them, the league and college football.

BCS? Are you kidding me? Play it on the field baby.

Now, expand the playoffs to 8 teams, give the higher seed a first round home game and the system will be perfect. Once again, well done Ohio State.

....and, sigh, yes, it shows how far Iowa has fallen behind.

Ahmen to this. Move the conference championship game up to the last weekend in Nov. Conference champs get automatic bid and select 3 at large teams. Then play the first round game of the playoff the following week, (the first week of Dec.) at the higher seeds stadium. Then keep the final 4 games just like this year at the Bowl games on Jan 1st. and the championship game following that.
 
Meyer has created a monster team at OSU. This is good for the conference.

Am I the only person that thought the announcers switched sides later in the game?
 
I found the game very depressing and switched it off in the 1st half. Glad osu won, but WOW...........Iowa is so far behind the curve it is embarrassing. And by the looks of our recruiting lately, it's going to get much worse really soon.:(

There were 76 bowl teams this year. Iowa could have beaten about 12 of them maybe.
