Nate the Great

Demry Croft is the reason Minny lost Saturday's game. Could/should have very easily been a Gopher victory. We realize that we have a QB issue.

Calling Stanley great is what's wrong with your mediocre program. 55% is not good, much less great.

Go Gophers!
You lost because you couldn't row the boat like Noah Fant. Slap a few more silly slogans on your helmets before next year.

Stanley had four drops (one cost him an interception) and he threw two balls away on purpose...so from an efficiency standpoint it wasnt too bad. He wasn't throwing screens and dump downs like Croft either. I think most people are excited about Stanley because he's played 8 games and he doesn't get rattled. When you have 17 TDs and 4 INTS and your team can't run the ball due to injuries on the OL...you are going to have to deal with alot of shit at the LOS. The best thing though...is that you see him getting better every game...that's what's exciting.

By the way, our mediocre program has won 13 of the last 17 games against the goofs. I guess that makes you Clone bad.

Lol, yeah that kid is a bonafide scrub.

We have ourselves a QB boys... We are a stud WR away from being scary good. OSU decided to try playing us strait up and not really blitz much or bring safetys into the box even on running downs. And boy did we make them pay for it all game long. The playcalling was great. He mixed it up on 1st down a lot they didn't know what was coming. Stanleys poise all game long was just money pure money. That 2nd TD to TJ with a defender hanging off his leg was amazing. For him to be composed enough to see TJ like he did and then have the arm to rifle it to him on the money like that... CJB couldn't have made it. JR no chance.. Good luck finding a QB as big strong athletic and composed as he's been so far. And dude's just getting started...

Heard he was at the game. What's his timeline for making a decision? It's about time to get off the pot is his HS season over yet? Him on one side AJ on the other.. 2 yrs from now Stanleys SR season holy crap... Like the basketball team as good of a season as they should have this year the future is pretty bright.

Learn the game.

Been high on him since he committed. He will end up being an outstanding QB for us, and I predict he will be playing on Sundays.

As stated, it would be nice if we could find him some bonafide receivers. Jeesh, that has been an issue forever. Some people find it hard to believe, but KF has never, ever, had a receiver he recruited play a down in a regular season NFL game. For an 18 year career at a P5 program, that truly is an astounding statistic.

I think Tevaun Smith might have gotten some snaps for the Colts last year.

Yes, that is correct. I stand corrected. For whatever it's worth, he played seven snaps on offense in one game. No receptions.

Still remarkable for a coach of almost 19 years at a P5 school.

Indeed. Maybe Smith-Marsette can be that guy who actually catches a pass in the league? Or maybe MVB or McCarron will beat him to it? Or maybe the NFL will implode in a couple of years?

His team plays tonight at the UNI dome in the semifinals. If Dowling wins then they will play the winner of Bettendorf/Iowa City next Friday. Hopefully he'd make a decision shortly after that. I'm not sure what else there really is to learn about the different schools at this point.

Pretty sure Rob had an article that said he was going to visit campuses months after his season is done and he isn’t committing in the near future.

Speaking of Brady Quinn he is really good as as a color analyst. He is probably stuck doing 2nd and 3rd tier games because of Klatt and the overall pecking order, but he is good.

Tony Romo's in-game observations as a broadcaster have been pretty good too. Ex QBs make great analysts as they really see the game and understand what the QB on the field is thinking. Makes for an interesting watch.
