A scary situation. I am glad that they caught it early and got it taken care of! These infections are nothing to mess around with. Brian Ferenz's football career was nearly cut short due to issues with staph.

I could be wrong or have heard it wrong, but I thought Ironside said that Moore had to go back in for another surgery for the infection. This was on the radio tonight before the Iowa/Michigan dual. Anyone else hear that? The meet was supposed to start at 7 ET but was delayed for probably 20 minutes or so. Ironside and Grace had a lot of time to fill and they spoke with Brands before the meet. I could swear Ironside said that Moore had to go back in a second time and get some more of the infection taken out.

Yep, you heard right. Brands mentioned it too in his pre-meet interview. Here's hoping for the best for Nate.

I read on another message board that he is back on the mat, drilling with the team. That's great news for Nate if it's true!
