Name that Iowa Freshman Point Guard

And he's been better this year, even you'd agree with that

He is only 2 pts higher in PER than Jordan. I know you love you some PER, and 2 points ain't much between the two. Heck one good game for Jordan and bad one for Moss could put Moss right at Jordan's PER.

Maybe. I like them both unlike you. I think Moss has a high upside as a wing player, and Bohannon has a huge upside of running the show.
If Moss were being asked to play pg I am guessing he would not be as efficient. Also he has been in the program for a year longer. That's not nothin.

Long story short, I like the upside of all 4 starting freshman in their respective positions

It's more than 2.0 points and PC mentioned Bohannon's unimpressive assists really help out his PER

What's Bohannon's upside of your don't mind me asking. I don't see him ever been a good defender or good at creating his own shot like Moss

Spacing the floor. Feeding the post (which is huge since he's playing with two really good post scorers). Making free throws to close out close games. And he's surprisingly good with his handles. Also he grew up around basketball so he's probably got the "coaches kid" IQ.

He's also confident taking a big 3 late in games. Something that Twins favorite Hawk Mikey was rarely willing to do.

I would be a huge fan of Morris next year if he had given two games to us the way Mike gave two games to his team.

Why are you so convinced he can't get better at anything?

What do you think he's going to get better at? Usually kids with low athletic ability don't get the "upside" tag. I'm sure he'll become a better decision maker and hopefully a better shooter but that's probably about it

Then you don't understand basketball, but we already knew that
