Connie Hawkins, what a shame. We could have been contenders. Friend of mine from DM was on the Iowa Freshman team with Connie, said he would dribble two basketballs down court (palm them both up off the dribble )and dunk them one after the other at full speed.......

Jack, I know you have seen me post this anecdote about Hawkins before. I added a tidbit you implied but didn't mention specifically. I heard it from my father who was a teammate of Hawkins at Iowa. Dad said it was the most impressive basketball demonstration he had ever seen.

Good list, very well thought out. My favorite Hawk on there is Woolridge was completely ticked when he didn't win Big Ten player of the year, losing out to Bobby Jackson.

Was also shocked he didn't get drafted or sniff the NBA, guy had mad handles.

Also, no Troy Skinner on the list, come on man
