Much too early Wisc v OSU analysis ...

Strongly disagree. Alvarez will not let what he built stumble into an after-thought the way dollar bob and barta have. It's really pathetic they have eclipsed us. And they did it with Iowa people. That's what happens when you make excuses for 4 win seasons.

You disagree that noone saw wisky being this good? Cause that's all I was stating.

Guys it is a night game and the badgers get a hard on for the buckeyes and typically play them tough. We will see how the 2nd half plays out.

Hawks will still have a chance at home.

Also, it is possible OSU is overrated. Who have the played...the Sooners and their crappy D?

I actually thought they were good last year . . . and expected that to continue into this year. In fact I see them finishing ranked almost every season Barry is the AD. I wish he were our AD. Barry doesn't have the attitude that Wisky should be grateful it isn't Iowa State. His expectations are a little higher.

They were good last year. But they lost a lot and no one expected them to look this good this year. Which is all I was stating.

And Iowa did beat them last year, which was nice.

Alvarez is a good AD.

If you're saying Iowa was better than them last year, I agree. But my fear was that would flip flop this year. I think Iowa had a chance in 2010 to create a better program than Wisky. Melvin Gordon was a difference maker (were we also in on James White? Or just passed on him?) We get him, and we add an extra win (or two) each season and subtract a win from Wisky. With those extra wins we don't lose guys like Delano Hill and Pierschbacher and Karan Higdon imo. Though I won't mind if you see it differently.

But when Wisky pulled off the 2010 win it started a domino effect. It sent Iowa downward and Wisky upward. Had Iowa won I believe we would've seen a domino effect in our favor. But the coaches don't think outside the box. Or at least the HC doesn't feel the heat he should. Which is the difference between Iowa and Wisky.

Now people are talking about Iowa losing Calloway and Eno becuz they aren't getting the hand-holding from the 4.5 million dollar man. Can you see how 10 yrs of these type of fails can bother a fan?

You can just get watch this game and tell these teams are on a different level than we are. The speed, the physicality, and the coaching.

Who is talking we might lose Eno? I've only seen that on here.

Losing bothers every fan, I would hope.

Other site is saying that since Eno has taken other visits, the staff is starting their backup plans for RB recruiting. Eno went to ASU, and our staff told him he's not welcome for next weeks official visit.

Didn't Eno say up front he'd take all his visits? Is this confirmed the staff said he isn't welcome? That seems odd.

Here's what I'm taking away for next week. Spoiler, it's all bad.

1. They are dominating a Top 5 team in the trenches. We got dominated in the trenches by NDSU. An FCS team.

2. Clement is powering through elite defensive talent. Our best defense player, Jewel, got trucked by the NW quarterback.

3. Their QB makes clutch throws when needed. We gave up like 400 yards passing to Purdue. Before you claim 2nd string. Those yards are not counting all of the wide open passes Purdue's QB missed on Mabin's side of the field.

In other words. Iowa wins 13-10.
