Fran has peaked.....time for a new coach. This is as good as it's ever gonna get under him....recruiting marginal, and gutless players (Uthoff), and adopting former coach Todd Lackluster like strategy the last 5 minutes of games. Enough is enough!!!

I'm on the irrational psycho bandwagon now. Two late season collapses in two years will do that. Rehire Lick so I don't care about basketball once we hit January. It's sooooo much easier to take this this crap.

Fire them all. Amiright?

Fire Iowa basketball. There has to be another form of wrestling that we can replace it with so we can be awesome. I can really only think of about 2 moments of joy I've felt from watching Iowa basketball in my life. It's a stupid hobby and really not worth the effort.

See you guys Saturday night!

------We haven't even had a season like 2002 did in football.

Not arguing with that....just stating that he has peaked and needs to be shown the door.

Fran a rebuilder of programs, but not an elite coach. Probably more like a high mid major guy and that is where he would really succeed.

Generally speaking, at least I felt more often than not Mr. Davis's teams were playing with a heart beat at the end of the season. Talent would do them in against a 1 seed, but they gave it there all.

With Fran, it feels more like a flat line.

Better than Lick, probably over all better than Alford, but not quite Mr. Davis level. On paper it might be this year (Mr. Davis level), but not with heart and the eye test.

I'm hoping that this group of players are just not strong enough mentally and that the next batch will be both talented and strong willed. I mean, it was the young players that kept us in this game before the seniors blew it. But, I don't know, I'm not sure if I have following the basketball team in me right now. What good is getting to the point where you have a 90% chance of winning at least a share of a title and can't actually do it? At that point, sports aren't fun to watch anymore.
