MSU's Payne May be Out Another Couple Weeks

I get where you're coming from but I'm not sure if you were just making a general statement or do you think Payne is their best player?

I don't feel like he is. He's certainly their best big man but I'd probably put both Appling and Harris above Payne.

Anyways... it is what it is. We can't control the misfortunte of Sparty's latest wave of the injury/illness bug. All we can do is focus on us and get the W.

Their most talented player is Harris. As far as most valuable? I would go 1. Appling, 2. Payne

Obviously, you do not want to see anyone hurt. But since the injury has already happened, I hope Iowa can take advantage of it. I say this because I believe that Josh's injury may have cost Iowa at least 1 victory and there's a pretty good chance we'll have someone out in a game later in the year.

I hope he is back and that the Hawks get MSU at full strenght. I really think with or without Payne Iowa can win...so may as well take them at their best.

Also, he is my favorite player in another uniform and would like to see him back. If you didn't catch this last year it is worth the time. WARNING!! After watching you may find it a bit harder to dislike the guy.

Normally I rather face a team at full strength, but I'd love to see them stay dinged up. Screw competitive spirit. If they're 100% when they come to Carver so be it, but I'd love to see drop a few games due to injury during the conference slate.
