MSU Players

I have no idea how they managed it but they were even more thuggish this year. Throwing punches the whole game along with cheap shots. I can honestly say I saw a ton of players who should of been ejected.

I'd take their defense, thuggish and all. This is football. People take cheap shots. MSU just happens to do it more than most others. Stop complaining about it.

Find the picture of the cheap shot on Kirksey and still tell me you would take those thugs. Trying to end someone's carrier by targeting their knees when they have no idea what's going on....Yeah that's really football.

I wouldn't, that kind of behavior is disgusting and not "football".

I definitely agree with hawkfan1319 that MSU is dirty. The play where I think bullock or smith was tackled and after the tackle the MSU player twisted and ripped off the hawk players helmet.

That is dirty and uncalled for and I cant believe that wasnt a 15 yard penalty. the reason they kept playing dirty is because the officials were too stupid or whatever to call them on it.

I know our offensive line will hold once in awhile but the MSU offensive line held on about every play.

I would seriously consider removing them from the Big 10. These guys are thugs in both Basketball and football. They play felons without giving it a second thought. They are a poor example of what athletics should be. The referees from Saturday's game should also not be allowed to work in another Big 10 game for not ejecting that MSU Dbag DE that literally ripped off an Iowa helmet and kicked a guy in the face. What a disgrace they are.

Agree, we all knew they were thugs before the game but everyone in the stands around us were totally ****** at what they were doing and what they were getting away with.

You could see the hawk player frustration come out late in the came when LTP flattened that punt blocker and get smashing him into the ground and when Sherrf pancaked dirty arse #44 into the ground.

I hope a very forceful word was sent by barta and KF to the league office with film even though I know nothing will ever come of it.

It was Powell who got his helmet ripped off. I couldn't believe it wasn't flagged. I was even more flabbergasted the ref had the stones to come on the mic to say #22 had to leave the game for one play.

I was also shocked when the MSU player kicked VanSloten. That clearly should've been an ejection.

There were many many more examples of poor sportsmanship, penalties not called, and thug life living displayed by MSU. Dispicable.

When Van Sloten got the "two fouls on the play" for simply flattening his guy and then got kicked...I lost it. Unreal.

And I am sure MSU was trying to get into the players heads and get them thinking of retaliation instead of their assignments. cheap crap

So MSU having thug players is why our offense stinks and they came to Kinnick and clowned us on homecoming? Maybe we should beat their butts and send them back to Lansing, but we can't do that because our coach cannot game plan for anyone who plays to win. MSU is not good, but of course their QB and 2 WR's had career days against us. I loathe MSU, but Dantonio got them jacked up on Saturday, while KF got clowned once again.

Your name shows your lack of intelligence.

That was actually the right call. He also went too far. That wasnt just playing to the whistle. However, yes, the dude trying to kick him should have been booted(no pun intended)...

I agree if you want to call it both ways fine but by the rules you should get kicked out for the kick. There has to be a line drawn some where.

You never know. There was well over 100 yards in penalties missed plus a starter that should have been ejected in the game. That could have resulted in a 14 point swing. The kick happened on a critical drive for example. Plus if a team is not allowed to be thugs more plays open up against them. Heads need to roll over this.

That Van Sloten call was stupid. MSU was outright trying to injure players.

Also how did Iowa get called for unsportsmanlike contact cause a coach accidentally hit his headset off? That's pretty bad. Yet apparently it's ok to grab someone around the head, twist their head and rip their helmet off.

That lousey smirk on dantonio said it all and man did it tick me off to see him get buy with all their thugerties. Bring on the basketball team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
