MSU has 8 home games

this year and this Saturday will venture outside their home state for the first time to play at Northwestern.

Seems very similar to what Florida does every year.

Yes, I was surprised last week when I heard on TV that they haven't had to leave the state of Michigan to that point. It could be interesting on the road this late in the season for them.

Of Iowa first 8 games, 6 are at home.

And of Iowa's last four games, three are on the road.

We will see what MSU is really made of over the next two weeks. I wouldn't be shocked if NW gives them more than they bargained for, and they know what they are going to get when they come to Kinnick. Back-to-back road games for a team that has not been road-tested yet...it will be interesting.

As I said before the UM/MSU game....MSU could trip up before they play Iowa. Which is why I was for UM to win that game to ensure we get the ranking boost. If MSU gets beat by Northwestern we no longer get a boost by beating them at home the following week. Better hope MSU can win this week on the road.
