PSU was more "memorable" in that it was an upset and the most fun of the games listed, but today's was the craziest - by far.

I think MSU is the most memorable for a few reasons.

It was the first time Iowa EVER went 8-0. It was the only the SECOND time in Big Ten history that a team has won @Penn State, @Michigan State, and @Wisconsin. It was the first time under Iowa for Kirk Ferentz to win in East Lansing. It was the hardest hitting college football game I've ever seen. Iowa got its highest BCS ranking after the game EVER. It culminated in two of the most dramatic offensive drives ever in Big Ten history. It was the macrocosm in micro. It ended on the fourth most exciting Hawkeye play I've ever seen: #1 was "The Kick" by Rob Houghtlin, #2 was "The Catch" by Halloway, #3 was "The Kick Part 2" vs. Penn State last year, and #4 was what I am calling "The Slant."

For the most infamous victory, I would vote "The Blocks" vs. UNI

South Carolina, B/c its always good to beat an almighty power SEC team, and Stevie S.

lol. nice!

However Jon this is a tough question, but i would guess that MSU will be the more memorable game just for the simple fact as stated before we were going for 8-0. Top that off with the fact that it was one of the most physical games i have seen, to come down to the LAST PLAY!

Thats why i have to give MSU the edge, because ten years from now ill remember the Mcnutt moment and how big it was. I mean when you have a poll and its in front of Tate to Halloway, that says something.

BTW Jon, not sure i can say this enough but THANK YOU for everything you do for the Hawkeyes and us fans.

MSU barely edges out IU, if only because there was far less time left in the game to recover a game I presumed we had lost.

Just got back from the game (live in Madison). I chose today's game because as I sat in Kinnick watching things unfold in the third quarter, I really thought I was seeing a sure loss. It was nothing short of amazing that we won that game. 5 turnovers. We just about went down by three big scores in the third quarter. Would've been "game over." There were so many wild, incredible plays. I will not soon forget this game. Truly amazing.

I went with MSU. It was a hard-knocking physical game that went right down to the wire without either team really gaining a real edge. Then, to cap it, both offense went wild, culminating in that amazing 70 drive and a game winning catch.

The resulting 8-0, #4 ranking also play into it.
