We are loaded for next year too. Both sides of the ball. Kirk will be back next year at least. He still has some records to break. Now 2020 season might be on the table as a possible exit point. If we can come off of back to back 10+ win seasons then it might be a good time to try the hand off. That way if 2020 is a rebuilding year. Brian will be given at least a year of latitude.

I don't know what types of records he wants to break, but in my opinion, if he wants to hang on, it might be to win a Rose Bowl, Big ten Title, get into the final four? He has longevity records, but average records, mostly brought about by a program that keeps coaches with little winning pressure. So it seems to me.

Maybe hang on to beat Wisconsin 2-3 years in a row...wish, wish, wish.

I think he could pass 2 more coaches in all time B1G wins if we win out and win 7 conference games next year.

Kirk has definitely figured things out. When there's incentive in it for him, he pulls out big seasons.

A potential audition for his son to take the HC reins someday is certainly incentive.
